- Visit the Tybee Island Irish Heritage Celebration Parade. Held in mid-March, the parade kicks off the St. Patrick’s Day season with floats, music, and marchers making their way from City Hall down Butler Avenue to Tybrisa St.
- Find the perfect spot to watch the Beach Bum Parade. Taking place in May, the beloved tradition features participants splashing through Butler Avenue with water balloons, super soakers, and hoses in one gigantic water fight and parade.
- Make your way to South Beach for the SCAD Sand Arts Festival. Held in May, students and alumni of SCAD compete to see who can make the best sand art.
- One of the most popular events on Tybee Island is Pirate Fest. The multi-day event in October features live music, markets, pirate parades, kids’ activities, and costumed performers.
