Below are answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about staying at Beachside Colony, including check-in, parking, beach gear, pet-friendly condos, and what to bring for your trip.

Arrival & Check-In
What time is check-in and check-out at Beachside Colony?
Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and check-out is 10:00 AM.
Our team works hard to have your condo ready as early as possible so you can begin enjoying your Tybee Island stay.
How do I get my door code?
Your door code will be texted to the cell phone number listed on your reservation as soon as your condo is ready.
If your condo is ready before 4:00 PM, we will send your code early rather than waiting until official check-in time. Please be sure we have the correct cell phone number on file for your account.
Is there an onsite office at Beachside Colony?
Yes. Beachside Colony has an onsite office conveniently located near the pool entrance.
Our office is open daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and our team is here to help with questions, beach gear rentals, towel checkout, and anything you may need during your stay.
Parking
Is parking included with our stay?
Yes. Two parking spaces are included with your condo rental at Beachside Colony.
This is a valuable convenience, especially since public parking on Tybee Island can be expensive. Metered parking may cost up to $48 per day, and payment is most easily handled through the Park TYB app.
Please note that we do not have room on property for trailers, RVs, boat trailers, golf cart trailers, or other oversized vehicles. These larger vehicles must be parked in public metered areas where allowed.
Packing & Supplies
What should we bring for our Beachside Colony stay?
Each condo includes a starter supply of basic items to help you settle in, including toilet paper, paper towels, starter toiletries, dish detergent, laundry detergent, and a trash bag.
If you are staying longer than a weekend, we recommend bringing extra supplies so you have enough for your full trip.
Please note that pantry items and food staples are not provided.
Pools
Are the pools heated?
Yes. Beachside Colony offers two oceanfront pools for guests to enjoy.
One of our pools is heated from mid-October through the end of May, with the schedule adjusted as needed depending on the weather.
Beach Gear & Towels
Do the condos include beach chairs and umbrellas?
Beach chairs and umbrellas are available to rent from our onsite office for $10 per day, per item.
For guests who prefer a full-service beach setup, a third-party beach rental service also offers larger chairs and umbrella setup directly on the beach, as seen in some of our photos.
Daily Rates (8:30 AM – 4:30 PM):
- 1 umbrella + 2 chairs (setup): $50
- 1 chair: $10

Are beach towels provided?
Yes. We offer beach towels at no charge for our guests at Beachside Colony.
Towels may be checked out from the office and returned at the end of the day or at the end of your stay.
Pets
Are pets allowed at Beachside Colony?
Yes. Dogs are allowed in select pet-friendly condos at Beachside Colony.
There is a $100 pet fee per dog.
Please note:
- Cats are not allowed.
- Dogs are only permitted in designated pet-friendly units.
- Pets are not allowed on Tybee Island’s beach per City regulations.
For guests traveling with dogs, many local restaurants offer outdoor seating that welcomes pets. Memorial Park, located directly across the street from Beachside Colony, is also a wonderful nearby place to walk your dog.
