
π The 2026 Tybee Irish Heritage Parade is Almost Here! π

π One of Tybee Islandβs most beloved traditions returns on Saturday, March 14, 2026, and we are excited to welcome residents and visitors to the island for a full day of celebration. With a large crowd expected, here are a few important reminders about road closures and traffic so everyone can plan ahead and help the day run as smoothly as possible. π
πΆπ² Parade Route ππ
The parade will begin at at Memorial Park with line up on 4th Street, travel south down Butler Avenue, turn down Tybrisa Street to the roundabout, and end at on Strand Avenue. Streets will reopen once it is safe to do so after the parade.
π§ Road Closures and Parking Restrictions
π’ No parking will be permitted along Butler Ave from 14th St to Tybrisa St beginning at 3 AM on Friday, March 13, and along Tybrisa St beginning at 3 AM on Saturday, March 14
π’ Parking restriction signs will be placed on Thursday evening March 12 on Butler Ave, and move to Tybrisa St on Friday, March 13
π’ Barricades will begin going up on Friday morning along Butler Avenue from 14th Street to Tybrisa Street
π’ Tybrisa Street will be closed Saturday morning and roped off for spectators. It will remain closed until the parade has concluded and it is safe to reopen
